Hillier Lake of Western Australia


There is a mysterious bright pink Lake in Western Australia. Its startling color remains a mystery.

and while scientists have proven it's not due to the presence of algae, At first it was thought that the color of algae that produce such Dunaliella salina, which produce a red dye, but their conjecture is not confirmed.Unlike the other salt lakes down under, they still can't explain why it's pink.
